This is a stand alone read with a HEA. The story is about a couple, in their twenties I think. He is an entertainment lawyer from a wealthy family. She is a professional event planner with a big company recently promoted from weddings to big corporate parties and fund raisers. They are both big basketball fans and they meet at a game. He is there on a date and she with her best friend. He and his date break up before the game even starts and of course, she was a witness to the whole embarrassing event. At half-time the Kiss Cam lands on them, probably assuming they were together and the audience demands they kiss. They finally do only to experience the best kiss of their lives so far.And so their story starts as he goes after her and she runs from him. She discovers that he is the son Portland's Mayor and in a class way out of her league. He is determined so he tracks her down and they finally agree to see each other. There is LOTS and LOTS of sex in this story. i would say at least 1/2 is their going after it. So, this will not be for everyone. Of course the story has a bit of drama, some humor, romance and discovery. It is a good enough story. The hero is a great guy. He is smart, witty, handsome, sexy, and determined. The heroine is a strong, independent, a little damaged from childhood, but stands on her own two feet. I would definitely recommend the book if you like young love, lots of sex and a HEA.

This is my first Anie Michael's book and I'm so looking forward to reading the next book about Riley and Camden. Their story kept you wanting more and really had you from the first page. I found it hard to put this book down. The connection between Riley and Camden couldn't be denied, and you couldn't help but get sucked into their story of falling for one another.
I'm looking forward to the next book to follow more of their story, and I can't t wait to see what kind of story plays out in the 3rd book with Camden's friend Justin and Riley's friend Hadley. If you're thinking about getting this book, do yourself a favor and one click it. You won't be disappointed!
I really liked the premise of this story, with Riley trying to enjoy her night at the basketball game when Camden’s third date with another woman ends with her storming off. They strike up a conversation based off what could have been an embarrassing situation and before you know it they are on Kiss Cam at the game. With this one kiss Camden is smitten and pursues Riley who is hesitant as he is the son of the mayor (i.e. rich) but he soon shows her what a great guy he is. What was really great was how solid these two were, they knew they liked each other and although Riley was worried about coming from different social circles she was soon able to get past this. All the drama comes from the people around them but Cam and Riley were a good team and stayed so throughout the book, which was lovely. There are some steamy scenes but not over the top, mostly it was the development of this relationship in a mature setting, in that they both still worked and had to juggle spending time together along with trying to grow the relationship. Very well written but the one drawback to me is that yes the book ends on a HEA the story continues in the next book, which is a pet peeve with me (for series I like checking in the previous characters but having a whole other book generally leads to a lot of contrived drama for a couple already together). I actually don’t have any desire to read the next book as I felt the story ended well so I’m going to leave it well enough alone.

Riley is an event planner who splurged on basketball tickets in celebration of a recent promotion. What she didn’t expect was to witness the couple next to her in the midst of a break up! She feels sorry for the guy and they strike up a conversation once his ex leaves. Then the Kiss Cam catches them and all thought goes out the window!
Camden loves his season tickets. He did not enjoy ending things with his date. Things start to look up, though, when he starts to chat with the cute woman sitting next to him and when they kiss? Oh boy! He’s done for. Except she is playing hard to get. Is she worth the effort? Camden decides she is and it’s game on!
Riley is enjoying getting to know Camden. What she’s not liking is the obvious difference in their family life. She’s not rich, he/his family are and it’s messing with her. He’s not doing anything outright elitist but she’s struggling to overcome her experienced bias of how some people with money treat those don’t have any. Can she get out of her head enough to enjoy Cam for who he is? Can Cam break down her walls and be sensitive to her needs?
It makes for a fun story with bits of drama thrown in along with some seriously well written sex scenes!

They were breaking up at the game! When the woman stormed away, Riley was left with the stranger as the Kiss Cam zoomed in. There really was nothing left to do but lock lips with the stranger. And, wow, what a lip lock! Despite the chemistry, she refuses to give him her name or number and walks away. But Camden Rogers, son of the mayor, tracks her down. The story is cute and well written, but I got more than a little tired of Riley's feelings of inadequacy. Her self-doubt in the beginning was understandable but it went on far too long. I would have preferred more story and less sex, but I guess that's just me. The story is a stand alone, but this is apparently a series and the next book is also about them. I won't be reading it.
